Budget Beauty Remix – Acne Fighters

Sweeten your complexion with sugar – Mix a teaspoon of sugar with soap lather and use the same way you’d use facial scrubs.

After washing the face dab area with water adding sugar to the infected area, allow to dry, leaving on overnight.

Fastest way to dry up a blemish – Dab it with lemon juice a few times a day.

Blackhead remover – Make a paste of oatmeal and water. Apply to face and allow to dry until it feels tight. Rub off with your fingers, using lots of back and forth motion. This scrub sloughs off dead skin and gets rid of blackheads.

The Greatest Moisturizer –  Wash face thoroughly. While face is still wet rub in a tiny amount of petroleum jelly. Continue wetting face until the jelly is spread evenly and does not appear greasy. Remember, it will not stay greasy if you keep adding water a little at a time.

Blitz zits with a thick paste of baking soda and peroxide applied before bedtime.

Make a mixture of 2 teaspoons of plain or herbal apple cider vinegar in 1 cup of water adding two aspirin (acetylated derivative of salicylic acid, aspirin should be slightlty crushed and will not dissolve completely). Dab on blemishes several times a day after washing.

Make a mixture of 2 teaspoons of plain or herbal apple cider vinegar in 1 cup of water adding 1 or two teaspoons grated onion. Dab on blemishes several times a day after washing.

Garlic has been shown to be effective in treating bacterial infections (both gram negative and positive), yeast infections (including Candida Albicans), and intestinal parasites of all sorts.

Eat no more than 2 cloves of raw garlic each day or use pill concentrates IN ADDITION TO, not instead of whole garlic in the diet.

To make a poultice for treating acne, spots, and mouth ulcers, simply hold or rub a bruised clove against the place. (Russians used to press a half walnut shell filled with crushed garlic to the skin as a means of getting it into the system.)

Oregon grape (Mahonia aquifolium) has been used successfully to treat acne. It has demonstrated properties as an antibiotic, anti-fective and immune stimulant. Dosages (all taken 3 times daily): tea from dried root (2-4 grams), tincture (6-12 ml or 1.5-3 tsp), fluid extract (1-2 ml or 0.25-0.5 tsp. solid powder of 8-12% alkaloid content (250-500 mg).

Take extra vitamin B-complex supplements.

Dab Tea Tree Oil on infected area.

Wash your face with sulpher soap morning and evening.
